Batterson: 7 Expectations (for Staff).  Check it.

Preaching the “Whole Counsel of God.”  Very relevant for me right now as I’m thinking through these very issues  (read).  Check it.

Need to find a caffeination station near you?  Check out this handy locator (HT: AV).  Check it.

Check out these great titles for Biblical Studies.  I added Waltke and Thielman to my wish list.  Check it.

Promo Vid from Granger for “Let it Be….Christmas”

And tonight I head downtown to see As I Lay Dying and Haste the Day with Carson.  I’m not a huge metal guy but Carson is going to culture me a bit.

ok, so i already have the Carson/Moo Intro to NT and was seriously considering the Waltke book, then JT posts this. I don’t have a good intro to OT (other than Geisler’s Popular Survey, which is small and very narrow in focus, though in the right direction), so have you checked out this one? Man, having all four on my bookshelf would look pretty sweet…

man, i think i am going to take one last shot at getting my wife to let me go to that AILD show. i even have Ticketmaster gift certificates so it wouldn’t cost me anything.

If you mean the Longman OT Intro, no I don’t have it. But I would imagine it’s very solid. 1) B/c it’s the companion to the NT Intro which is good. And 2) Longman is a very solid OT guy.

Did you get to the show? Man, it wasn’t bad but I think I’m probably going to stick with my wussy indie music… :)
