    Tuesday Links

    By jason | February 12, 2008

How to write scannable content. Read it.

NT Wright in Time Mag, Christians wrong about Heaven. Read it.

As a church planter I always get the “building” question, mainly - do we have one. The assumption by many is that portability is a stage to grow out of. But maybe that shouldn’t be the case. Here’s a great little post: Embracing Portability. Check it.

Wages of Spin and waxing eloquent on the soul patch. Read it.

New LifeConnection landing page banner. Awesome. Check it.

Craig Blomberg is one of my favorite NT dudes. Here are some youtube clips. Check it.

Tim Keller in NewsWeek. Here. Stetzer has 2 posts on the article. Here and here.

Kevin Larson posted the audio content from Karis’ Theology Weekend with Tom Schreiner. Check it.

Choosing commentaries for your library. Check it.

Grudem: Why poor nations remain poor. Read it.

about that heaven piece: witherington talks about that in his book “the problem with evangelical theology.” after hearing bw3 talk about the problems with our views of heaven, everything i’ve ever taught, learned, and/or thought about heaven suddenly came into clear view. what i had been taught was wrong; what i always seemed to envision was closer to correct. the bible certainly teaches different things than what our preachers do.

I am starting to feel the sting of getting lumped in with the failings of “our preachers” since I now is one. :)

Oh well, maybe I’ll get something right along the way.

Thanks for the comment JD. I haven’t read that yet but have read a lot about it. I’m sure it’s quality, I really appreciate his work.
