I got some links for ya today. Let the input roll…
Roger Olsen didn’t like the calvinist approach to the Minneapolis bridge collapse. Whatcha think of his take?
NBC denies Apple’s claim. But they’re also going to launch their own video portal this fall. Check it. Join the “One Voice” campaign, a grass roots movement to get NBC programming on iTunes. (Sometimes I’m too clever for my own good…)
Top 75 church web sites. Not sure what the criterion was for choosing but if you’re interested in seeing some sleek and silky design you might want to check it out. Of course I think they all have the same look and feel, but it certainly displays some of the trends in church web sites. Check it.
The Stanford Social Innovation Review doesn’t think microfinance offers a very good long term strategy in developing countries. Check it.
More Ten Questions: Bob Roberts. Perry Noble.
Tim Keller on Work and Rest (via Steve McCoy). Check it.
JP Moreland has a new article on Jesus’ miracles. Very intriguing when you see someone of Moreland’s philosophical acumen arguing for the miraculous today. I want to check out his new book. You should check it.
Then go and read his article, “How Did Jesus Train.” Check it.
Scot McKnight has been posting a huge series on Missional Jesus, examining how Jesus saw his own mission. Check it.
Here’s a bit out-of-date celebrity atheist list. Check it.
Here’s an article on fair trade hoopla. Check it.
The president’s press secretary (Tony Snow) is stepping down. First off it is crazy that a 35 year old is replacing him, wow that would be some pressure. I was unaware that he is a devoted Christ Follower and even has an article released in CT this month (CT Article). Check it.
The real worship war (what about Justice?). Check it.
In Houston, TX over 100 church leaders signed a manifesto to partner together, across denominational boundaries, to work out a church planting strategy to reach every single person in their city. (Wow.) This is what I want to see happen in KC. Who’s in? Check it.
Google phone soon (gphone)? Check it.
Henry Cloud, Nancy Beach, and Bill Hybels on Integrity. Hear it.
Perry Noble’s words to musical worship leaders is poignant. Check it.
If Daniel Wallace is saying this about Piper’s “The Future of Justification” you might want to check it out. Check it.
Creativemyk for Christian photographers and designers to share their work. Check it.
If you liked that post, check these...
