The Year Memphis Lost
By jason | April 8, 2008
First off, heard yesterday that in 1999 when MU interviewed Quin Snyder they had 2 other coaches interview. Any guess who they were?
1. Bill Self
The worst part of the deal is that MU fans wish for a return to Snyder days, that’s how bad it is for MU right now.
Secondly this will always be known as “the year that Memphis lost” in my book.
The year 2035: “Hey Jason, do you know who won the NCAA tourney in 2008.”
Me: “That’s the year Memphis lost.”
Sad, sad day for KU haters everywhere. ![]()
