The Scripture Challenge (Day 6)

Scripture
Psalm 119.41-48
I will also speak of your testimonies before kings and shall not b put to shame, for I find my delight in your commandments, which I love. (46-47)
Observation
There is a boldness to the Psalmist. He is going to use his platform to speak of the Lord’s testimonies. He’s going to do so out of love for God’s commandments. This boldness arises not out of his internal self will, but because of his confidence in God himself.
Application
Do I delight in the Lord’s commands in such a way that moves me to speak to others about him? Is this the kind of value I place on God and his word?
Prayer
Lord help me to speak out about you. Grow my heart for your word. Cause me to delight in it, to love it.
