Psalm 119.161-168
I rejoice at your word like one who finds great spoil. (162)
Observation
Once again the psalmist takes great delight in the word of God. It is as good as finding a great treasure.
Application
And once again I am confronted with the question, “Do I have this same attitude toward God’s word?” I need to do all I can to cultivate this kind of attitude into myself as well as the life of our church.
Prayer
Lord, give me an attitude that longs for your word and values it beyond anything else. Help me see it as my lifeline. Help our church become known as people who live by your word.
