Psalm 119.153-160
Consider how I love your precepts! Give me life according to your steadfast love. The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever! (159-160)
Observation
The psalmist continues to recognize the connection between living God’s precepts and life.
Application
I need to recognize this connection for my own life. God’s statutes, his word, brings life. I need to come to the place where I believe that reality more than all the competitors.
Prayer
O Lord help me love you and your word more day by day. Help me long for it to nourish my life. Help us become a church characterized by a love for your word.
