The Scripture Challenge (Day 12)

Scripture
Psalm 19.89-96
Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast. (90)
Observation
The psalmist points to God’s enduring faithfulness. He remains faithful to all generations and this culminates in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. God’s promises are fulfilled in Christ and his resurrection points to ultimate fulfillment - one day all things will be restored.
Application
It is awesome to know that God will remain faithful no matter what. His character is unswerving. His word unmoving. What he promises he will ultimately come through on.
This is especially important for me as I think about LifeConnection. It would be easy to lose heart if this thing was about us and my leadership. But ultimately it is God’s church and he will come through on his promise to lead his church.
Prayer
O Lord, I pray that you will help me rely upon your faithfulness, cling to your promises, and not my own abilities. Lord thank you for all your doing. I have clearly seen your faithfulness over the last year, every step of the way. Continue to work in the lives of people, bringing about life change.
