      Sunday Recap @ LifeConnection

      By jason | April 28, 2008

Yesterday was an interesting experience for me personally as I spent my first Sunday away from teaching since we launched and did so by volunteering in our KidsCo area. It was a great time hanging with the kids and seeing our team do their thing in there. I’m all the more convinced that KidsCo is not just childcare. KidsCo is our opportunity to influence our youngest attenders for Christ. It’s amazing, and humbling, to thing these kids formative experiences with Christ and his church will be shaped by us. What an awesome and weighty responsibility.

From what I understand our Worship Experience went really well. Good friends of our Mike & Becky Qualls continued our Helix series by considering the topic of Community. We prayed that it would connect and Carrie’s words were, “It was exactly what we needed right now.” So what a timely teaching yesterday. May God heal us from those attacks on our heart through a gospel saturated Community.

Since I didn’t teach yesterday I feel perfectly fine telling you to go get the audio. Mike and Becky will help you look at community with fresh eyes and help you see how powerful the community of Jesus is. (Listen/Download or subscribe to the LifeConnection podcast)

It was an awesome message, Carrie is right, it is exactly what we need.
Did you happen to catch Extreme Makeover Home Edition that night…..seemed like they were keeping the community theme going - all about how this one family’s work was changing their community, very inspiring what we can achieve together with God.
