      Sunday Recap @ LifeConnection

      By jason | June 9, 2008

We concluded our Legitimate Questions series this weekend by considering the question: How can Jesus die for the sins of the whole world? Or, Why Jesus?

We hit a bit of the summer craziness today with our attendance I think and had a bit of a smaller crowd. But the energy was high and we had several first time guests even, so that’s exciting. After the service we had a tailgate party outside and the clouds rolled in just in time to give us a bit of a respite from the heat and humidity (which was felt in the school today - very hot in there).

The band did an excellent job today. High energy. A lot of fun. And some great musical worship. I personally thought the flow from the teaching time to the musical set was great. The music was really fitting for the topic of the morning.

Today, Chris Beggs taught today and did a great job. I scribbled notes all over the notes page and the front of The Loop as well. His basic is Jesus can die for the sin of the whole world because Jesus is God come as man to save the world.  (listen)

Next week: One Prayer (Make us … Risk-Takers)
