Sunday Recap at LifeConnection
By jason | May 5, 2008
The web is stirring about yesterday’s worship experience at LifeConnection. Okay, maybe not but Chris has his usual recap up as well.
The service went well and we have really found our groove in several keys ways. 1) Set-up, awesome. 2) Sound checks, getting better and better every week on our timing. 3) Band run-through, done well before 10 and even time for a 2nd run-through yesterday.
We looked at our Core DNA piece of Truth yesterday through the eyes of the woman at the well in John 4. That is a really powerful passage in so many regards and it was fun to get back in the saddle after a week with the kiddies in KidsCo. (Audio)
A church planter friend was able to hang with us yesterday and this morning I took several pages of notes on ways we can improve our Sunday morning experience, it was extremely beneficial. I’m looking forward to the rest of this series.
Here is a spoken word vid we used after the teaching time yesterday. Very cool. (HT: Chris):
