Some Awesome Things Happening…

God is doing some truly incredible things in our midst. People with absolutely no church background are getting talking about Jesus, stories of Jesus’ impact in lives are affecting others, people are coming to faith in Christ, others are taking next steps as they follow Jesus. It really is very cool to hear these kinds of stories. I’m absolutely blown away right now at the thought.
As Carrie said tonight, this is exactly the kinds of things we’ve been wanting to see happen.
I often get asked, by church people mind you, if we need yet another church in Independence. I don’t hold it against them, we do have A LOT of churches in this city. My answer is, look at what God is doing around here. I can point to people, by name, who would not be hearing the gospel this weekend if we weren’t here. Do we need another church? I think so.
That’s nothing to say about us. It’s really a reminder to me of the tremendous grace of God.
