Selling Our House
By admin | March 12, 2007
One of the small minor details of us moving away from Warrensburg is selling out house! This is such a pain in the rear it’s not even funny.
We got the information to the Whiteman AFB housing last week and got the signs up in our yard and on the main road as well. We have plans to get an add in the paper and some info on a for sale by owner site as well.
The good news is Carrie showed the house this morning and the lady who checked it out liked it a lot. They are AF and just moved from overseas. They lived in a 700 sq ft place so our little place looked huge to them! Her excitement may have been faked a bit but Carrie didn’t think so, she said she would talk with her husband and get back to us. Man it would be nice if the first people to look at it are the ones to buy it. But it typically doesn’t work like that, unfortunately.
The bad news is they would need to move in asap, like first of April. We’ll do it, but it won’t be fun if that’s what has to happen. There is so much happening over the next several weeks it’s just not even funny, just stressful more than anything. But I’ve said since the beginning the better dilemma is selling it early and figuring that piece out than needing to move and not having it sold yet.
If you’re in a praying mood feel free to throw one up for us.
Oh, and if anyone is in the market for a home I know a great little place in Warrensburg!
