Royals Tonight
By jason | April 22, 2008
Carrie and I head to our first game of the season tonight with some friends. We’re playing Cleveland so should be a good game. We need to get our of this little slump (lost the last 4 games). Meche is squaring off against Sabathia, so that should be a lot of fun.
While I think of it, we’re taking our first vacation in a long while to Omaha in June. We’re going to take in a game of the college world series (first for me). Looking forward to that. And then heading to the Omaha Zoo which is supposed to be pretty phenomenal. The kids are going to have a blast.

Hope you enjoyed the game! Yesterday, some friends invited me and Anna to see the Rockies play the Cardinals at Coors Field on May 7th. Can’t wait.
I think the first thing you should do after you come back from your vacation to Omaha is schedule your next vacation in Colorado. We’d love to host you guys out here sometime this summer! The mountains are still beautiful, even with all the pine-beetle-killed trees. There will probably be snow above 10,000 feet into July. And you don’t have to sleep on the floor at my house. You guys could stay at my folks’ condo in Silverthorne.
I’ve been thinking more about our dialogue a few nights ago and posted something about it this morning, something that came out of my time in the word today. http://obsessiveskier.blogspot.com/2008/04/ministry-leader-titles-and-heart-of.html
