Philip Jensen on Anglicanism and Evangelicalism

      By jason | June 13, 2008

If you have followed the blog for any length then you will probably recall how influential my time in Sydney spent with MTS.  The ministry model I saw - churches on campus, the hospitality that was extended to me, and the warm friendships I made all had a lasting impression on me.

One of the highlights was traveling to their mid-year conference where a thousand or more college students gathered for teaching and training.  It was a unique conference in many regards.  One of the most interesting aspects was the teaching of Philip Jensen.  Philip taught for 90 minutes every evening.  About 45 minutes, a break for some singing, and then 45 more minutes.

Why 90 minutes?  Because they recorded to tape and that was the entire tape!  And I was amazed at how engaged people were, and how engaging Philip was.

During one of the lunchtimes we were introduced and I got to have lunch with Philip Jensen and Paul House.  And it was a tremendous time, my month in Sydney was extremely fruitful and soul-shaping.

All of that is a long introduction to say that this past weekend, while mowing, I listened to an interview with Philip Jensen on a number of topics.  He had so many good things to say and I would highly commend the interview to you.  It will be well worth your time

      Listen.
