      Music: Interpol

      By admin | August 6, 2007

I’ve been listening to Interpol’s newest album Our Love to Admire over the last week or so. I have really liked it so far. Is it just me or does Paul Banks sound a lot like R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe (maybe that’s why I like his vocals, who knows).

I’m no music expert, so I won’t pretend to be, but I have enjoyed the music on this album. Going into I wasn’t real familiar with Interpol’s music, this is their first album I’ve purchased and I’m glad I did. It makes me want to listen to some of their older Matador stuff, which is argued to be their best (Turn on the Bright Lights and Antics respectively).

Has anyone else listened to this album? What did you think?
