Move Over John Wooden, There’s A New Coach In Town
By jason | December 3, 2007
Caleb started basketball the week before Thanksgiving. We’ve had two practices and our first game was this past Saturday.
Last Thursday I helped with practice as a volunteer. After practice the coach said he was out of town for the weekend and asked if I would coach on Saturday! (that’s what you get for listening to your wife)
It’s the opportunity I’ve been waiting for. I’ve been sitting on the sidelines like a back up quarterback secretly hoping the first string guy would go down with an injury so I could have my long hoped for shot.
Move over John Wooden…here I come.
Oh, and good thing they don’t keep score as kindergartners because our team got blasted. But man did we have fun.
