I really feel for this guy.
I’m not saying that what he did was right. I’m not saying that everything he has said or done since he admitted his error was right.
But I can remember many times in my life when I did things that were much worse that what he’s done. I remember how it felt when I was broken. I remember how many tears that I shed when I had no more hope, only loneliness and tears.
And I also remember how amazing it felt when God lifted me out of my tears and gave me back the world. I am a writer, but I have never found the words to describe what God gave me.
My heart is broken to hear stories like this. Michael Guglielmucci dared to be human. It’s okay to be angry, but he needs us now more than ever.
