Making Connections
By admin | September 28, 2007
It’s interesting to me at times how I pray for things and nothing happens. It’s like I bring a request before God and he is ignoring me or something (I know he’s not ignoring me but do you know what I’m talking about?). But then there are other times that I ask for specific things and it just seemingly starts falling in my lap. That’s been my morning.
I’m praying, like always, for more like-minded people to join our launch team. This morning I got a call from a friend who has a guy possibly moving to KC. He’s hands the phone to him for us to chat. He might be coming over in a few weeks to see what’s up.
I then saw a guy I know from The ‘Burg and he’s in school up here in the city. I was able to tell him a bit about what’s happening and I think he’s going to check things out too.
Neither may end up on the launch team but God is certainly answering prayer. And it’s in these times that I can know he isn’t ignoring the others.
