Has Preaching Seen It’s Day? Pt 3

      By jason | December 13, 2007

Verse By Verse vers(us) Verse With Verse

Verse by verse would be more closely aligned with what is typically known as expository preaching while verse with verse (first heard this phrase from Rick Warren) would be more like a topical sermon.

      Here are my questions.

Is there anything inherently advantageous about either of these paradigms?

Is there anything inherently disadvantageous about either of these paradigms?

What are the benefits of either or both?

What are the pit falls of either or both?

      Whatcha think?
