      Friends Lending a Hand

      Well, I had a nice post that got lost somehow in cyberspace about all the amazing people who helped us out.  I’m too frustrated to retype it all so let me just say that it was an amazing encouragement to have so much help and in some cases people setting up and tearing down with us that don’t even know us!

      Not only that we had a lot of friends and family who came to show their support.  This was a huge encouragement emotionally and spiritually for us and the team.  It was a confirmation of God’s calling on us as a church.  And the calls and emails from all over the country in the last 24 hours continue to confirm in my mind that God is at work in this thing.

      At one point I walked into our Cafe area and saw a family that I barely even know there to support us.  Not do they not know anyone on our team really but they drove nearly and hour to come and show their support!  How loudly do you think that spoke to our team!
      I mean we’ll never have a first worship service again.  We’ll never have these first experiences again.  And here were so many who came to experience it with us.  And then so many others from around the city and around the country who couldn’t be there showed their support through their phone calls and emails to ask about it.  God was very good to us yesterday.
