Easter 2009 in the Works
By jason | March 19, 2008
No, that’s not a typo. Easter hasn’t even happened yet but I’ve already been talking about Easter 2009 with some people. I had a meeting yesterday and we kicked around some ideas for doing a city-wide Easter Egg Craziness.
Oh my goodness this could be phenomenal. Don’t know how much I can talk about just yet because we’re still kicking around ideas. But this would truly be a city-wide event. 20,000 eggs? That’s nothing compared to what we’re dreaming about for next year. This could be so huge that people from other parts of KC will want to travel to Independence (seriously).
I can’t wait. I’m a typical guy - bigger and better is my core language. So the moment I heard the first thoughts I was already stoked. This thing is going to be bigger than big. It’s like that new commercial, “my better is better than your better; my fast is faster than your fast.” That’s what Easter 2009 is going to be like!
