Psalm 119.137-144
Your promise is well tried, and your servant loves it. I am small and despised, yet I do not forget your precepts. (140-141)
Observation
The Lord’s promise is so faithful and because of that love for it springs up spontaneously. Despite circumstances the psalmist doesn’t forget the precepts of the Lord.

Your testimonies are wonderful; therefore my soul keeps them. (129)
Observation
The psalmists ties his keeping of God’s testimonies to the goodness of them. It isn’t out of sheer duty or compulsion that the psalmist keeps the Lord’s testimonies.
Application
I need to see and savor the goodness of God’s testimonies so that I will keep them. [...]
Doubt Day @ Blue River
